What Our Garage Door Warranty Covers in Augusta

New Garage Door Installations

Our garage door installation warranty protects against workmanship defects in the labor we provide during the service. The coverage period is specified in the “Warranty Options” section on your invoice. If this section is blank, coverage defaults to 90 days from the date of installation. The garage door manufacturer provides separate warranty coverage for the door itself and its components.

Our workmanship warranty does not cover the door or its parts. Still, if a part fails under the manufacturer’s warranty, we will repair or replace it at no labor cost to you during the garage door warranty period. A service charge may apply.

Complete Overhaul Repairs

When we perform extensive repairs to your existing system, our garage door repair warranty covers defects in both materials and workmanship for all new and rebuilt parts we install. If a part or our workmanship proves to be defective, we will repair it. If a repair isn’t feasible, we’ll replace it at no charge for materials. The coverage term is indicated in the “Warranty Options” section of your invoice. Service charges may apply.

Partial Service Warranty

If this option is selected, the terms are consistent with the Limited Warranty but last only 90 days from the date of service completion.

How Long Does Your Coverage Last?

Warranty protection begins the moment we complete your installation or repair. For new garage door installations and complete overhaul repairs, coverage continues for the period specified on your invoice. Your warranty is also non-transferable. It terminates if you sell your property or no longer own the garage door we serviced.

What Is Not Covered?

Our workmanship warranty has specific exclusions to ensure clear expectations:

• Normal wear and tear: Components naturally degrade with regular daily use over time.
• Accidental damage or misuse: Issues caused by impacts, improper operation, civil disturbance or abuse are not covered.
• Unauthorized repairs: Work performed by uncertified technicians or DIY modifications may void coverage.
• Weather-related damage: Storm damage, flooding and other weather events as well as Acts of God are not covered under warranty.
